The new strategy titled “Getting to Zero” was adopted on 8 December by the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB). With priority areas such as halting new HIV/AIDS infections, harmonising efforts in HIV/AIDS with other health and development efforts, promoting new and innovative partnerships and strengthening accountability and country ownership of national responses, the strategy sends an important signal to increase tackling the HIV/AIDS pandemic until 2015. View the full report here.
